Winnipegger seeks Slurpee Intelligence
This is more of a query than a story.
I live in Winnipeg, Canada which, according to 7-11, drinks more Slurpee per capita than any other market (something like 30% more).
I get a sense from what I see on some Slurpee sites that 7-11 uses this as an excuse to drag their feet on promos, innovations etc. I.E: - Do Slurpees come in bigger sizes than the Super Slurpee (1.3 litre)? Other chains here have bigger ones - but they're just not the same as an authentic "Sev" Slurpee.
- Do you have Slurpee sales? We used to have sales and buy 9 get 1 free type things but we don't anymore. (Sometimes the tinier sized ones go on special but that doesn't count)
- Do dome lids come for larger sized Slurpees or just the dinky clear cup size?
- Dr.Pepper is my favourite but its very hard to come by here - what about out there?
