Canada vs US vs World
Okay...I'm Canadian and would never admit to any other country being better but I must say I have travelled all over ... I had a slurpee in China dammit but most of my slurpees have been across Canada and throughout the states. Now it's a good thing that Canada hosts the Slurpee Capital in Winnipeg...it's nice for the town to have something to be proud of. I happen to love Winnipeg almost as much as my hometown of Vancouver, which is great just on it's own. This is about Slurpees though.

I make a point of trying Slurpees everywhere I go and I come across a good one here and a good one there. Last year I moved to Los Angeles for a few months and had an Awakening. California (LA anyways) has by far the best slurpees I've ever had. I had friends from Canada come to visit me...one even from Winnipeg and they agreed that there has never been a better combination of consistency, flavour, and melifluousity to the Slurpees we consumed in Burbank where I resided.

LA is also home to one slushy-beverage dispenser (non-7-11) which is easily the best slurpee in the world...the location I cannot reveal but you'd never guess anyways. The three of us who chanced upon it that day not only experienced joygasms for hours but COULDN'T GET BRAINFREEZE...the slushy beverage was perfect. I know I'm blaspheming against both the hallowed 7-11 and my home country of Canada here but facts are facts. My secret location is like a Mecca that I get to visit 3 or 4 times a year now.
