Following is my short list of open-source/unix programs that I've submitted patches for.
- Gaim - the Unix AOL Instant Messanging client. I found a bunch of places where it crashed and sent in fixes, along with a few enhancements like better logging, and displaying when people log on and off in the chat window that you have open with them.
- x2vnc - this program lets you use one mouse and keyboard between a Unix machine and a Windows machine. I found some bugs in it that prevented it from working with my window manager, Enlightenment, and fixed them. I also fixed it so it hid the mouse pointer on Windows when you move your mouse back to Unix, and suggested a fix so that the mouse won't move screen when the mouse pointer is down.
