Brad's Hidden Identity
My little brother Cole and I have always wreslted, ever since he was just a wee lil' toddler. It's really fun... I'll be walking beside him in the house and every so often I'll spontaneously mutate into a fictitious monster called The Ooglemongal. He knows it when I do too: I start making weird noises and talking in the Ooglemongal's low grumpyish monster voice. I then grab his leg and mush him up into a ball where I can grab him and never let him go.

Now, according to Ooglemongal legend, an Ooglemongal must die before it'll release its prey from its fearsome grip. Fortunately, the Ooglemongal never kills or harms its victim in any way... he just holds on to 'em forever, making the victims getting increasingly furious, later leading to fear... fear of never being able to leave. Sometimes the Ooglemongal will act like he's sleeping just to taunt its captured even more. When the victims try to slowly wiggle away, the Ooglemongal will let them try... all the way up until the last second and then snatch 'em back again. Quite a pesterly creature, really.

So anyway... I'm the Ooglemongal. Don't tell anyone. And if you can keep that secret, I'll tell you some more--- the Ooglemongal has some weaknesses. *gasp* what?!? the ever powerful Ooglemongal?!? Sadly, yes. For one, the victim, by crying, is usually able to lure in The Mother which has the power to cast spells over the Ooglemongal which causes him to release his captured. (The spell is called Chores & Punishment, not to be confused with the book Crime & Punishment where everybody has twenty or so names.) Another weakness is the lack of power to handle multiple victims. Usually the two victims start formulating plans and beat the living crap out of Mr. Ooglemongal. Pity, I kinda like the Ooglemongal. So does my brother... now. He used to hate him. He would seriously bawl and cry. I felt sorry for the poor guy but it was just such a fun game. He's gotten better and is at the point that he can almost escape on his own. Maybe I'm passing on the Power Of The Ooglemongal. Two Ooglemongals in the world... kinda scary if you think about it. <grin>
