Previous & current companies and projects:
- Danga: company I started, developed a lot of software.
- LiveJournal: blogging, social networking, forums, aggregator. worked on it for 9 years, sold to Six Apart, then to SUP.
- Six Apart: infrastructure, created OpenID, djabberd, ..
- Google: 2007 - present. Public stuff includes:
- Social Graph API, original TL
- PubSubHubbub, with Brett Slatkin
- WebFinger, with tons of Internet people. I de-facto picked a name, website and added gmail support. Not finished.
- Android, performance, StrictMode, etc.
- Go Programming Language. so refreshingly simple and productive. makes me giddy about writing code again after years of hating the major trade-offs between different languages.
- Camlistore, my big side project and obsession (mostly written in Go, which led me to join the Go team full-time at Google)
