Hi, I'm Brad Fitzpatrick.

Previous & current companies and projects:

• Danga: company I started, developed a lot of software: memcached, MogileFS, Perlbal, etc.
• LiveJournal: blogging, social networking, forums, aggregator. worked on it for 9 years, sold to Six Apart, then to SUP.
• Six Apart: infrastructure, created OpenID, Gearman, djabberd, ..
• Google: 2007 - present. Public stuff includes:
  • Social Graph API, original TL
  • PubSubHubbub, with Brett Slatkin
  • WebFinger, with tons of Internet people, since ~2006. Added gmail support. Not finished.
  • Android, performance, StrictMode, etc.
  • Go Programming Language. so refreshingly simple and productive. makes me giddy about writing code again after years of hating the major trade-offs between different languages.
  • Camlistore, my big side project and obsession (mostly written in Go, which led me to join the Go team full-time at Google)
